Getting Started with Umoja Employee Self-Service

When Umoja goes live 1 June 2015, it will be critical for staff at all Cluster 3 entities to clearly understand how to get into the system and perform basic functionalities. While not every Umoja user will be responsible for the more elaborate transactional functions, all users will be using Umoja to perform activities related to time and entitlements. The information on this page is intended to provide users with basic tutorials that will help get you set up and ready to start using Umoja on day one.

The below links provide explanations of how to navigate specific elements of the Umoja Employee Self-Service interface (a comprehensive course on this topic can be found here: NV211 - Umoja Employee Self Service Portal (ESS) Basic Navigation). For detailed simulations and reference guides on how to perform specific functions within Umoja ESS, please see the subsequent sections on Time and Entitlements.
